Happy New Year! I hope that everyone has a happy and prosperous 2009. Let’s make this a big year for liberty and the push back to traditional conservative standards for our great nation. This will be the first full year that this blog is online and you can expect a lot more posts from me as I continue to defend capitalism, free markets, small government, personal liberties, and anti-war policies. It is time to make a change and to save our nation from where it is headed. I hope you join me in spreading the word of true conservatism as we try to steer this nation back in the right direction.

Welcome to MirajPatel.com, the blog where I will share my views on why free markets, limited government, and anti-war policies are the road to prosperity. Here I will post my ideas on why I believe some government policies are failing the United States and what I believe should be done in order to change that. Let me set one thing straight before I begin posting: I am NOT saying that advocates of these policies are unintelligent or that they don’t care about this country; I am just saying that things aren’t always as they seem and these policies are some of these things.
To all of those who may see this, please feel free to add your opinions to any posts via the comments. Disagreeing with me (and other commentator) is fine, in fact I encourage it, just keep things clean and don’t make any personal attacks.
