I am currently a senior physiology/neurobiology major at the University of Maryland who will be attending pharmacy school this coming fall. I began this blog as a way to express my views on the world and life, and particularly focus on economic and philosophical matters. I am not a fan of political monikers as they tend to vary in meaning depending on whom one talks too, but simply put I believe in freedom.
I am not a historian or an economist, but I do have a burning curiosity about many of the issues that affect so many people in our nation and across the world. As I have worked on my formal coursework, I have come to the realization that the world is often not as intuitive as it at times seems and that is not only true in the hard sciences, but also the social sciences. As such, I am always interested in learning different and perhaps more accurate explanations of economic phenomena. I try to stay updated on the news and try to understand how different people may look at the same situation.
Outside of my coursework and economics, other interests of mine, in no particular order include food culture, travel, sports (NYJ, NYY, NYR, NYK, Terps), and all sorts of different music.
I hope you read my writings and if you ever have any input, suggestions, or questions, don’t hesitate to leave me a comment or a private email via the contact form.
